Stop Da Violence Event 2010 (When: July 17th)

Saturday July 17th, 2010 The Ketchmore Kids Foundation wants to bring everyone closer together for Stop The Violence 2010 Event being held at Enderly Park 3318 Tuckaseegee Rd. in Charlotte, NC.  WPEG Power 98, The Mayor of Charlotte Anthony Foxx, hip hop legend Special Ed, and several local rappers are scheduled to speak at this event.  For more information go to http://www.ketchmorekids.org

Ike Turnah describes this project as a collection of duets with other talented rappers and performers all on one complete disc.  The anthology features guest vocals from Dee Richards, Panama Ski, Charles Herron, Kam Moye (Supastition) and others over a unique blend of smooth, soulful boom bap compositions reminiscent of hip hop's golden era.  Those tracks were produced by a collection of veteran North Carolina based music producers such as DJ DR, Madwreck, Blaqsmith, Matt Cagle and Sun 7.

This project is well worth the listen, and although this is a free release it is 

well more than worth the time spent!
